Brazos Bend State Park
A few weeks ago we spent a Saturday afternoon at the "Alligator Park." We had a great time. As soon as the girls saw the first alligator there was a barrage of questions from Channing that was followed by several minutes of reassuring explanations from Ryan and I about how we were safe, even though the alligators were RIGHT THERE!

At least Ryan didn't end up being devoured by fire ants this time and ending up in the ER looking like a giant pimple.
That's right. Alligators, Shmaligators! It's the fire ants that are the real threat!
